Description

• Prepare and assist with financial reports and management accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and expenses.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for the accounting and finance department.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
• Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and efficiency.
• Ensure accurate data entry and upkeep of financial systems.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• A qualification or working towards one in accounting or finance.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the accounting and finance field.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
