Assistant Accountant

Marks Sattin is recruiting for a growing international business based in Cleckheaton, looking to add an Assistant Accountant to their finance team!

If you're part-qualified and ready to take the next step in your career, this role offers the chance to work across international operations, gain exposure to a wide range of finance activities, and receive full support towards your CIMA or ACCA qualification.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be working closely with the Finance Manager and wider team to support financial reporting and compliance across the international business. Expect a varied role including:

• Month-end journals, reconciliations, and VAT returns
• Intercompany accounting and audit support
• Payroll accounting and general ledger work
• Supporting internal controls and process improvements
• Getting involved in projects and helping drive efficiency

What We're Looking For

• Part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA) or actively studying
• Strong Excel skills and ideally experience with SAP!
• A proactive mindset and keen attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
