Assistant Accountant

Please note: this role will initially be office-based. 

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.

Maintain accurate financial records, process invoices, and handle reconciliations.

Bring your tech enthusiasm to the table by helping us explore and implement AI tools to improve our accounting workflows.

Liaise professionally and directly with customers, as needed, on accounts and queries.

Take the initiative on routine finance tasks and support the broader team as we get things done.

Key Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience using Xero is essential.

A self-starter with strong initiative who isn't thin-skinned and thrives in a busy, hands-on environment.

Someone with a sharp mind who enjoys tackling challenges independently and thinking outside the box.

Eager to grow professionally, learn new skills, and potentially pursue or continue financial qualifications
