Assistant Accountant

This is a great opportunity for those with previous experience in finance, who are looking to bring their valuable skills to a company, with fantastic development and growth potential.

key responsibilities include:
Assist in producing and sending weekly reports on various KPIs to stores in a timely manner
Work collaboratively with the retail team to improve processes where possible
Support with ad-hoc or new reporting at the request of senior stakeholders to drive retail performance
Learn and assist with maintaining the dashboard platform that reports live KPIs to stores
Understand and support the roll-out of automated reporting, reviewing the data is accurate
Work with other departments in Morrisons to collate data to report on

For this role, we're looking for someone who has:

Working towards an accounting qualification (ACCA,ACA,CIMA)
Good verbal communication skills, ability to articulate financial data in a clear and transparent way
Resilience and the ability to adapt in an ever changing environment
Attention to detail skills
Good excel use and understand of macros helpful but not essential
Proactive and able to work in a fast paced environment
Coding/Google App Script understanding but not essential
