Looking to bring your finance skills into a fast-paced, creative environment? A leading independent TV production company - behind some of the UK’s most acclaimed dramas - is on the hunt for an Assistant Accountant to join their buzzing finance team.

Working closely with the CFO and Financial Controller, you’ll be right at the heart of the action, supporting productions from behind the scenes and helping keep things running smoothly across finance, legal, and production.

• Manage day-to-day transaction entry using accounting software (Sage Line 50)

• Maintain accurate financial records across multiple projects using production finance systems (e.g. Eclipse)

• Reconcile multiple bank accounts on a monthly basis

• Set up and process corporate and project-related payments via online banking

• Prepare intercompany and recharge invoicing across business entities

• Handle company and personal credit card reconciliations (using platforms like Equals)

• Support the preparation of group-wide cashflow forecasts

• Assist in compiling VAT returns for various entities within the group

• Prepare documentation and support for annual audits

• Help with setting up new bank accounts and applying for company credit cards

• Liaise with third-party finance teams to ensure smooth financial operations across projects

• Tackle general finance admin and support tasks as needed

• 2+ years experience within finance

• Experience in TV or film production (bonus points if you know Eclipse or Sage)

• Super organised, tech-savvy, and calm under pressure
