Assistant Accountant - Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to join our Finance department at our head office in Felixstowe. This is a permanent, office-based role with a Monday to Friday schedule, ideal for someone looking to progress within a dynamic industry.

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
• Assist the senior finance team with monthly group reporting requirements.
• Calculate accruals and prepayments.
• Review purchase order information and code invoices.
• Communicate with other departments to obtain key information.
• Provide information to assist with the annual budget process.
• Support the year-end audit process.
• Assist with general accounting tasks.

• Strong work ethic to enable tight deadlines to be met.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Preferable knowledge of SAP.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and key formulas.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience within a management accounts department/ or desire to learn management accounts. 
• Ideally CIMA/ACCA/AAT level 4 part qualified.
• Enthusiastic, can-do approach and a strong team player.
• Ability to learn new processes and skills quickly.
• Able to work well unsupervised and use initiative.
