We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a successful and expanding retailer in the Chelmsford area. This is far more than a typical administration role – you'll play a key part in supporting product management, stock control, supplier relationships, and business operations within a fast-paced commercial environment.

The Role
This is a diverse position where you'll work closely with the Merchandiser and wider team, helping to ensure products, stock, suppliers and systems are managed accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing reports and management information.
* Monitoring stock levels and assisting with forecasting activities.
* Reviewing replenishment recommendations and placing orders with suppliers.
* Managing supplier communications and coordinating deliveries.
* Maintaining accurate product, stock and pricing information.
* Creating and updating products within internal systems and Shopify.
* Supporting product launches and promotional campaigns.
* Monitoring competitor pricing and activity.
* Liaising with internal departments to ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
* Providing general administrative support across the department.
About You
We're looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
You'll ideally have:
✔ Previous administration experience ✔ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy ✔ Strong organisational and time-management skills ✔ Confidence working with numbers, reports and spreadsheets ✔ Good Excel and general IT skills ✔ A proactive and positive attitude ✔ The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively ✔ Experience within retail, merchandising, stock control or a commercial office environment would be advantageous ✔ A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to the location
