JOB PURPOSE

The team at Burberry is looking for an Assistant Art Director to help shape distinctive creative work across fragrance and makeup. Working with the Beauty Art Direction team, you will contribute to projects from initial research and concept development through to execution and post-production. This is an opportunity to bring thoughtful ideas, strong visual judgement and a collaborative approach to beauty content across still and moving image.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the development and delivery of beauty briefs across research, ideation, execution and post-production.

Create considered, visually compelling concept documents that communicate creative ideas with clarity.

Collaborate with graphic design, digital, architecture and the wider Beauty team to shape cohesive creative projects.

Present ideas confidently and constructively to colleagues and senior creative partners.

Work closely with marketing, project management, production and post-production teams to deliver projects on schedule.

Explore developments across luxury, beauty, culture and digital innovation to bring relevant thinking to each brief.

PERSONAL PROFILE

Experience contributing to art direction projects, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong creative thinking and visual judgement.

Exposure to luxury, beauty or fashion environments is beneficial but not essential.

Experience developing content for still and moving image, or a clear interest in working across both formats.

Strong presentation, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage several priorities while maintaining quality.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and the ability to translate research into clear, compelling creative proposals.

A thoughtful, detail-focused and collaborative approach, with curiosity about emerging creative trends and innovations.
