Job Description - Assistant Banqueting Manger

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an energetic and well-organised Assistant Banqueting Manager to provide our Members with a first-class banqueting experience.
As the Assistant Banqueting Manager you will assist with the day to day running of the Banqueting and Events department,

maintaining all standards, policies & procedures relating to food and beverage service within thedepartment, with a strong emphasis on staff training and event planning.
You will develop a close relationship with Members and build effective working relationships with all Club departments to ensure maximum efficiency for responding to Members requirements. You will work closely with the Operations team for event execution whilst having the ability to promptly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action, to ensure the execution of all events to the highest level of service.
ABOUT YOU
Previous experience in a 5* hotel or Members Club
Proven experience in planning events
Strong people management and leadership skills
Experience in supervising staff.
Flexibility to work varied hours.
Exceptional organisational ability to plan banquets, manage budgets, and meet deadlines.
Good level of written and spoken English
Exceptional customer care skills
Must have a calm nature and work well under pressure.
Attention to details.
Demonstration of ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
The finest personal presentation
Distinctive, professional and warm personality
Confidence & professionalism when interacting with high profile guests.
Remaining hands on at all times.

PACKAGE AVAILABLE
Salary will reflect experience
Minimum requirement of 40 hrs per week. However, some weeks will require more hours depending on business needs.
20 days holiday + Bank holiday and an additional seasonal closure
