On offer is the opportunity to join an industry-leading builders merchants, supplying a comprehensive range of materials to the construction and engineering industries for the past 9 decades. After acquiring 20 additional merchant brands, this company is looking to continue expanding their materials range and customer base.

In this role you will become a fundamental asset to the company. You will be actively supporting the branch manager in facilitating sales and overseeing merchandising and operations within the branch.

The Role:

• Active sales, managing customer accounts and working towards targets
• Supporting the branch manager to identify new opportunities from these customers through selling of the product families within the business
• Build and maintain productive relationships with customers and suppliers
• Identify and recommend profit improvement plans
• Resolve issues/complaints with supplier/customer orders and deliveries
• Support the branch manager in managing all employees, ensuring goals are met and staff understand products, processes and procedures
• Monday to Friday between 7.30-4.00pm including every other Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm

The Person:

• Sales experience within builders merchants or wholesalers
