JOB TITLE: Assistant Building Surveyor - Building Services & Maintenance
SALARY: £39,276 - £42,771 per annum
TYPE: PERMANENT
HOURS: This is a Full time role

We are recruiting for an Assistant Building Surveyor to join a well-established Building Services & Maintenance team in North London. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a varied estate that includes corporate buildings, schools, libraries, and community assets, while working towards RICS APC professional accreditation with structured support and development.

What you'll be doing:

* Assisting with building and condition surveys

* Supporting project delivery, contract administration and tender processes

* Producing drawings, specifications and technical documentation

* Supporting compliance activities including fire safety, asbestos management and accessibility standards

* Conducting site inspections and building assessments

* Working alongside experienced surveyors on a range of maintenance and improvement projects

* Contributing to feasibility studies, project planning and stakeholder engagement

What we're looking for:

* Knowledge or experience within building surveying, construction, or property maintenance

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively

* Interest in developing a professional career within Building Surveying and working towards RICS membership

* Experience with surveys, specifications, CAD drawings or project support would be advantageous
