ASSISTANT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - BROKER
WELLINGBOROUGH (HYBRID WITH TRAVEL)
To support continued growth, we are seeking a proactive and ambitious Assistant Business Development Manager. This role is a sales position, ensuring smooth operations and fostering strong client relationships.

Salary will be in the region of £25,000-£35,000 dependent on experience. You will also receive a car allowance and (on completion of probation) a performance related bonus.

THE PRACTICAL BITS
You will need to travel as required within the UK, and some overnight stays may be needed. During training you will be predominantly based onsite in Wellingborough to ensure you are fully supported; thereafter hybrid working arrangements will be in place with the agreement of your line manager.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
- Working closely with Business Development Managers to develop and execute strategic sales plans and achieve targets.
- Supporting Business Development Managers as a conduit between them and internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring effective communication to ensure that broker/introducers experience a first-class service from Arkle.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the existing panel of brokers / introducers.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for assigned Brokers/Introducer relationships.
- Improving the quality of business introduced to Arkle, including the quality of proposals, approval rates and conversion rates.
- Undertaking regular visits to brokers/introducers and where require the end-user clients and dealers in line with sales plans, audit requirements, specific deals etc.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in and a good understanding of Asset Finance.
- A basic understanding of company accounts and financials.
- Able to work accurately in a fast-paced sales environment, and to work to sales targets.
- A customer centric approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication alongside good organisational skills.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a car insured for business use.
