• Assist the buyer with all administrative and assistant tasks which include the below:
• Overseeing and updating the critical path, chasing samples from suppliers and ensuring orders are on track for on time delivery.

• Assist in sourcing and selecting products for the Garden & Furniture category.
• Monitor inventory levels and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Support the team in negotiating pricing and contract terms with suppliers.
• Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for product development.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan promotions and campaigns.
• Maintain accurate product information and pricing on internal systems.
• Work closely with the merchandising team to optimise product display and sales performance.
• Provide administrative support to the buying team as required.

Profile

A successful Assistant Buyer - Garden & Furniture should have:

• Previous experience in retail or a related field.
• A strong interest in garden and furniture products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
