Assistant buyer

A leading retailer in West Yorkshire are looking to expand in their growing buying team with an Assistant Buyer as they look to launch new product categories.

The Brand They are a leading retailer based in West Yorkshire looking for an Assistant Buyer to join the team.

You will be working with closely with the Buyer and Senior Buyer in planning new & profitable ranges for the brand.

The Role · Representing the Buying function on relevant fascia and category · Attending all product launches throughout the year as specified · Attending all relevant trade shows · Analysis and review of previous weeks sales with the merchandising department to propose and drive actions for the week ahead · Being constantly aware of new brands and opportunities to diversify and drive department/category sales · Working independently in a creative and trend led environment · Managing budgets and OTB on in seasons and forward About You · Experience as a Buying Admin or an Assistant Buyer in a fashion or homewares brand · Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders · A keen interest in product and a customer first approach · Driven & motivated Benefits · up to £28k salary · 25 Days Holiday plus 8 days bank holiday · Close to public transport links · Onsite car park · Discretionary bonus If you are interested in this role, please apply or get in touch for more details.
