Working closely with our Merchandisers and Designers you will be an integral part of our team responsible for creating trend driven and profitable ranges for our customer. You will also be responsible for the training and development of the Buying Assistant, ensuring all tasks are fulfilled and the department runs smoothly. Ensuring products are developed within target marginsStaying ahead of the trends through research from; social media, blogs, fashion websites, news, catwalk, street style etcKnowledgeable of own department and business performance through analysis of Line PerformanceReviewing sales reactions with your Buyer and Merchandiser, suggesting commercial solutionsAttending fit meetings and contributing with commercial opinions, displaying customer awarenessAttending meetings in Buyers absencePrioritising samples to meet both business and supplier needsSupporting your Buyer with production issuesOverseeing BAA’s management of day to day samplesConducting a weekly critical path meeting with your BAA.
