We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Catering Manager to join a well-established catering team within a prestigious school near Guildford, Surrey. The ideal Assistant Catering Manager will have proven craft and management skills, a passion for fresh food and previous client liaison experience. You must also have experience of events due to the hospitality they do.

Key Responsibilities:
*Supporting the Catering Manager in the day-to-day operation of the catering department.
*Ensuring the smooth delivery of meals, maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
*Managing and motivating a team to provide excellent customer service.
*Assisting with stock control, ordering, and cost management.
*Upholding food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.

About You:
*Previous experience in a catering management or supervisory role, ideally within an education or contract catering setting.
*Strong leadership and organisational skills.
*A passion for delivering high-quality food and service.
*Knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations.
*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
