Assistant Commercial Accountant

We are working with a leading UK company that is seeking an ambitious and detail-focused Assistant Commercial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced commercial environment where your insight will directly support performance and strategic decision-making.

The Role:
You will support the Commercial Finance Business Partner with key financial processes, particularly around Commercial Income. This includes robust financial control, accurate and timely reporting, and collaborating across departments to deliver business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate and timely reporting to support decision-making.

• Assist with commercial performance tracking, particularly within rapid delivery channels.

• Produce weekly pricing and funding forecasts.

• Manage commercial income reporting, sign-offs, and invoicing.

• Perform profitability reviews on media campaigns and related activity.

• Support cash flow forecasting and working capital initiatives.

• Build strong working relationships with internal finance and trading teams.

About You:

• Studying towards CIMA (or similar qualification) (support will be given for this)

• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with large datasets

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Inquisitive, proactive, and solution-focused mindset

• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to change
