Job Description - Assistant Company Secretary

Overview
£Market Rate, London (Hybrid)

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic Secretariat team? We’re seeking a motivated individual to support the Senior Assistant Company Secretary of this PLC in a challenging and varied role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support across various aspects of the Secretariat function including the administration of share schemes, board support, subsidiary management and compliance with listing rules. If you have previous company secretarial experience in a listed environment, we’d like to hear from you!

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for subsidiary Boards and committees.
Coordinate the production and distribution of papers via Diligent.
Assist with the administration of Plc Board and Committee activities.
Prepare draft Stock Exchange announcements.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for UK subsidiary companies.
Support senior assistant company secretary with employee share plans.
Oversee corporate governance policies and maintain the firm’s website.

Experience and Qualifications
GradCG or part-qualified is desirable.
Previous experience in a PLC is essential.
Share schemes experience is desirable.

Attitudes and Behaviours
Self-motivated and proactive with a can-do attitude.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact confidently at all levels.
