The Role Purpose:
The Project Coordinator provides integral operational support to both business delivery and business development teams; ensuring quality and compliance with published standards by utilising and supporting a single, common, approach across all our products and services.

This role sits within the Cultural Engagement (CE) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). CE brings together our portfolio of work in arts, education, English, and research. Our portfolio is delivered through a set of globally led programmes that locate our work and impact within our strategic framework. These programmes deliver our key performance indicators and impact ambitions.
This role sits separately as a client-funded role as part of the wider offer to schools through our Schools Connect programme within Education. Schools Connect aims to support the UK Education Departments to learn from each other and from overseas systems (especially those recognised as high performing). We support policy dialogue and knowledge exchange and run programmes such as the Singapore Building Education Bridges. We also support overseas delegations to engage with UK stakeholders and visit UK schools.
We aim to support the teaching and learning of modern foreign languages in the UK. Within the International opportunities for school workstream, our work brings an international perspective to the UK school experience: We aim to use our international experience and networks to support teachers and schools with advice and guidance on how to find a partner and how to engage learners working with their international peers.
In this role, the Assistant Consultant will work on the exciting global education programme Learning Sectors, supported by Formula 1. Within this programme, which is now in a second phase spanning 7 countries including UK, Brazil, China, India, Mexico, South Africa and Spain, young people build 21st century skills, oracy & communication skills, international collaboration and intercultural awareness, and gain practical skills for future STEM careers. A key programme objective is the inclusion of girls and children from disadvantaged backgrounds between the ages of 7 and 16 years old. The Assistant Consultant will play a crucial role within the team in recruiting schools for partnership projects, selecting and matching schools, facilitating and delivering webinars for teachers, and supporting schools on their international school partnership journeys including supporting with the wider work of the global Learning Sectors programme.
