What you do: Plan all operations and the production team's training while excelling in the kitchen. Oversee the chopping, seasoning, and cooking of fish, vegetables, meats, salads, soups, and other dishes. Plan and price the menu, place supply orders, and maintain accounts and records. Assist the culinary crew in the range to instruct, mentor, and foster growth. Keep an eye on sanitary procedures to make sure staff members adhere to rules and guidelines. Prepare, create, and display food with the utmost care. Stand in as main cook as and when required which would mean an increase in hours at these times. Package Description Assistant Cook £12.00 per hour 20 hours per week Working pattern: Monday to Friday (10.00 - 14.00) Term Time Only ** **Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks.
