Assistant Coroners Manager

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Westminster Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for an Assistant Coroners Manager this role will be based at : 65 Horseferry Road, London, Greater London, SW1P2ED

The right candidate will:

Assist and support the Head of Service with all Court and administrative duties pertaining to the investigation of deaths referred to the Coronial Service within the Inner West London jurisdiction.

Provide general administrative assistance within the offices of the coroner’s jurisdiction.

This assistance will include;

* Organising all court files

* Attending and clerking Court

* Preparing post inquest forms and recordings

* Administration of the post

* Organising meeting

* Dealing with telephone queries and responding to letters/emails both orally and in writing.

* Attend all Inquests as Court Usher / Jury Usher,

* Assisting as necessary with any requirements.

* Prepare Court at the beginning of the day and close the court at the end of the day. Enter data received by the Coroner’s Court into a bespoke case management system and other IT systems, as appropriate
