Assistant Director - Home First & Provider Services

Location: North East London
Rate: £700 per day (Umbrella)
Contract: Interim

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Director to lead Home First and Provider Services for a London Borough. This is a key strategic leadership role, managing a £12 million budget and leading 260 staff across a broad portfolio of Adult Social Care services.

Your Responsibilities

Lead Hospital Discharge, Reablement, Occupational Therapy, Home Adaptations, Residential Care, Shared Lives and Dementia Services.
Drive transformation and service improvement across Adult Social Care.
Build strong partnerships with NHS organisations and external providers.
Ensure services meet all statutory, safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
Provide strategic leadership, financial oversight and workforce development.

About You

You'll have:

Significant senior leadership experience within Adult Social Care.
A proven track record of leading complex transformation programmes.
Experience managing large teams and multi-million-pound budgets.
Strong knowledge of the Care Act, safeguarding and integrated health and social care.
A Social Work or relevant Health & Social Care qualification (Social Work England registration where applicable).
