Assistant Director of Maths – Exciting Leadership Opportunity!

A leading London-based educational organisation is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking individual to step into the role of Assistant Director – Mathematics. This strategic leadership role is central to shaping the direction of Maths provision, with a strong focus on raising standards in teaching, learning, and student success.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will oversee the delivery and development of the Maths curriculum, ensuring both compliance and innovation. Your ability to lead teams, drive continuous improvement, and engage key stakeholders will be crucial to the role.
Location: Across two sites in South East London
Salary: £53,579 – £59,417 (London weighting included)
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Holds a degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Qualified teacher (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTTLS or similar)
• Minimum of 3 years' leadership experience within an educational context
• Strong track record of teaching excellence in Maths
• Experience in quality assurance and working with Awarding Bodies
• Confident and motivational leader, committed to continuous improvement
