Assistant Drainage Engineer

My client, an innovative, sustainable Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for an assistant Drainage Engineer to join their growing team of experts near the bustling Northern town of Bolton.

Essential Criteria:

- A Degree in Civil Engineering

- Demonstrable experience of working with Drainage Strategies, Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), etc.

- Experience of producing drainage designs and sewerage connections

- Good working knowledge of Section Agreements S104 and S106, and their relevant applications within the industry

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage WinDES, and other, similar software packages

It would also benefit applicants for the role of Assistant Drainage Engineer to possess the following skills:

- A good working knowledge of a range of other software packages

- Experience of liaising with a range of stakeholders across the public and private sectors

- Excellent time management skills

In your interesting new role of Assistant Drainage Engineer, you will join a specialist team of design engineers, with a view to developing and progressing within your career. The role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including:

- Producing drainage designs to align with industry standards and stipulations

- Preparing calculations and drawings for drainage systems, aligned to S104, S106, and other relevant Section Agreements

- Liaising with a range of clients and other stakeholders, across the public and private sectors

- Working on a range of infrastructure projects across a number of different areas
