Assistant Estimator

Reed Construction are working with a specialist construction contractor looking for a motivated candidate to join the Estimating team of the internal firewall division.

In this role you will review tender documents, drawings, and specifications. Identify scope of works and prepare accurate take-offs and material quantities. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations. Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.

What we’re looking for:

Some knowledge or experience in Estimating, or Quantity Surveying, buying in the construction industry.

Interest in learning about estimating and project planning within a specialist contracting environment

A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to develop new skills
