An established and growing main contractor is looking to appoint an ambitious Assistant Estimator to join its Pre-Construction team based in West London.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their estimating career within a business that delivers a diverse range of refurbishment, maintenance and new build projects valued between £50,000 and £10 million.
Working alongside experienced Estimators, you'll gain exposure to the full tender process while receiving ongoing support and development.
Responsibilities

Assist with preparing accurate and competitive tender submissions.

Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
*
Measure quantities and prepare take-offs.
*
Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
*
Assist in producing pricing schedules and tender documents.
*
Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings where required.
*
Support the estimating team to meet tender deadlines.
*
Maintain supplier and subcontractor databases.
Requirements
*
Previous estimating or construction experience.
*
Experience working for a contractor is advantageous.
*
Strong attention to detail.
*
Good Microsoft Office skills.
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
