Job Description - Assistant Facilities Manager

Your work directly contributes to the comfort and safety of our clients tenants.What We're Looking For:Experience & Knowledge: At least 2 years in Property Facilities Management and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office. Training in health & safety regulations is a plus!Adaptability: Flexibility to travel within the UK and occasionally work out of hours.Passion: A genuine interest in a career in facilities and building management.Key Responsibilities:Administrative Excellence: Keep our clients facilities administration and electronic documentation up-to-date, particularly for audits and safety certifications.Safety & Compliance: Assist in addressing risk items from health & safety, water, or fire risk audits.Contractor Coordination: Regularly communicate with contractors, onboard new ones, and manage a regional contractor spreadsheet.Energy Performance: Help manage EPC visits and ensure our clients records are current and compliant.Site Management: Oversee facilities matters on a proportion of multi-let estates, working closely with Asset Managers, contractors, and tenants.Budgeting: Assist in creating small service charge budgets and monitor expenditure.Maintenance Planning: Support in planning and implementing Planned Preventative Maintenance Programs.Site Visits: Conduct monthly site visits for meter readings, contractor meetings, and general site checks.Inspection & Reporting: Use inspection apps to conduct regular property inspections, ensuring all systems are operational.Emergency Response: Be ready to assist in emergencies and be on call as needed.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Facilities Manager and Management Team, providing support and stepping in as needed.Ready to Make an Impact?If you are eager to contribute to a team that values your skills, supports your growth, and offers a stimulating work environment, we want to hear from you!
