Assistant Finance Business Partner

We're looking for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join the high-impact, mission-driven team at one of the UK's leading cancer charities. The role will partner the Corporate Services Directorate, performing month-end tasks and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. This opportunity is ideal for a someone in the early stages of their accountancy exams with a strong foundation in finance, to gain more exposure to management accounts production and working with non-finance stakeholders.

• Support monthly forecasting and management reporting

• Partner with managers to analyse and improve financial performance

• Liaise with internal teams and external partners on income and expenditure matters

• Ensure accurate payroll and balance sheet reconciliations

• Contribute to budgeting and process improvements

• Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills

• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software

• Comfortable working both independently and in a team

• Proactive and adaptable to changing priorities

• Actively studying for an accountancy qualification; ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA
