Assistant Finance Manager

Churchill Howard is working in partnership with a FTSE-listed business based in an easily accessible location just outside of Birmingham City Centre. This role offers a clear pathway for career progression. It will suit first-time movers from practice or someone trained in industry with a strong skill set. The individual will be an ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified accountant.

Key responsibilities:
* Engaging financial and non-financial stakeholders - acting as finance business partner
* Variance analysis and associated commentary
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Represent finance and provide business / financial advice to senior business stakeholders
* Cost analysis and reporting
* Continuously improve processes and ensure compliance with procedures

The individual:
* ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant
* Strong academics
* Exceptional communication skills; the gravitas and credibility to manage challenging stakeholders
* A willingness and ability to understand operational challenges and the commercial acumen to make an impact.
