You'll be reporting to the Finance Manager and supporting the Head of Accounts. You'll be handed real work, real responsibility, and real opportunities to level up, and they'll support you.

Here's what you'll actually be doing (not just ticking boxes):

• Running payroll from start to finish
• Dealing with VAT and HMRC
• Helping prep the monthly management accounts
• Being part of the year-end scramble (aka "audit season")
• Sorting out all things intercompany - transactions, reconciliations, peacekeeping.
• Updating lease schedules under IFRS 16 (if you know what that is, great. If not, you'll learn quickly)
• Crunching numbers for budgeting and forecasting and being able to explain them
• Getting involved in actual business projects, you're not pigeonholed as "just finance"

What you need:

• Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA - on your way, not just thinking about it.
• At least 2 years in a similar role
• Excel skills that go beyond - PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, the works.
