Assistant Financial Accountant - Plus study package

Are you looking for a new role?

Whether you are practice or industry trained our excellent client based in Wakefield are looking to add to the current finance department and are looking for an assistant accountant to join them on a full-time permanent basis.

You will join a medium sized team, reporting into the financial controller within the team.

Duties include:

• Production monthly management accountants
• Assist and support budgets and forecasting
• Accruals, prepayment and journals
• Account and bank reconciliations
• Assist in year end accounts
• VAT and CIS returns
• CIS payments and deductions
• Assisting with statutory accounts including; tax.
• Other adhoc duties

Skills required:

• Strong Microsoft Excel experience
• Strong communication skills

Benefits:

• 37.5 hours per week - Mon-Fri (flexible shifts available 730-4 or similar)
• Office based role but very flexible if needed.
• Study package for ACCA/CIMA/ACA or similar
• Parking on site
