Assistant Financial Controller

Hays are supporting a manufacturing business on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre recruit an Assistant Financial Controller for one of their plants. The company forms part of a larger US-listed business.
Your new role
As Assistant Financial Controller, this is a broad role involved in both monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasting, stock analysis and control. You will also help prepare the financial accounts, VAT and year-end accounts for audit. There will also be other ad-hoc interesting projects. The company uses SAP and reports under SOX compliance and US GAAP and you will gain exposure to this.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for an experienced Qualified, finalist or QBE all-round Management/Financial Accountant looking for their next step. You may already have exposure to SAP, SOX and US GAAP, although this is not essential. The role will probably suit someone used to working in a slightly larger more complex company. This role will provide exceptional development and growth.
