Assistant Financial Controller - Hybrid & Flexible Working

We’re delighted to be partnering with a rapidly expanding group to recruit for a newly created Assistant Financial Controller role. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in preparing accurate consolidated management accounts and supporting financial compliance across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts for the group
• Lead the month-end reporting process for central overheads
• Business partner with budget holders to review performance and forecasts
• Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany accounts
• Assist with group cashflow forecasting and VAT return reviews
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Support the FC with financial analysis and ad hoc projects

Ideal Candidate:

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with experience in a multi-entity environment
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to build relationships across the business
• Confident working in a fast-paced, evolving finance function
