Job Description - Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

We are currently seeking an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to become an integral part of our bustling and successful establishment.
As Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our hotel's food and beverage outlets. Collaborating closely with senior management and our dedicated team, you will uphold our commitment to delivering unparalleled customer service, consistently surpassing the expectations of our esteemed guests.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate the daily operations of all food and beverage departments, maintaining smooth and efficient service delivery.
Conduct daily team briefings, ensuring team members are informed about specials and other pertinent information to enhance guest experience.
Proactively engage with guests, conducting regular check-backs to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Prepare detailed handover reports for senior management, providing valuable insights into daily operations and areas for improvement.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Ensure adherence to food safety and health regulations, providing supervision and training as necessary.
Utilise social media platforms to capitalise on food and beverage sales opportunities, driving revenue and enhancing brand visibility.
Monitor sales and upselling standards, setting departmental objectives and benchmarks to optimise performance.
Oversee cashing up procedures, maintaining accuracy and compliance with financial protocols.
Address guest complaints promptly and effectively, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
What you Need:
Demonstrated experience as an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager or Restaurant Manager in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
Possess superb attention to detail and a relentless commitment to delivering exceptional standards of service.
Strong leadership and motivational abilities, capable of nurturing, developing, and inspiring team members to achieve excellence.
Proven track record in training and developing team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests and team members.
Maintain excellent personal presentation, reflecting the high standards of our brand.
Exhibit resilience and drive to consistently achieve excellence and address challenges effectively.
Previous experience with Micros is desirable, though not essential.
