As Assistant Front Office Manager your key responsibilities include:
·Assist guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner ensuring that any special requirements are noted and passed on to the appropriate department.
·To demonstrate full knowledge of the hotel's facilities and general information concerning the other hotels in the Group.
·Ensure all rooms are saleable, assisting as required to ensure maximum availability.
·Maintain complete and comprehensive records of all action taken during shift in the log book and hand-over sheet following where required any outstanding issues.
·Ensure guest security, safety and privacy is established and maintained.
·Handle complaints in a professional manner and in accordance with the Company Standards.
·Deal efficiently with all reservations requests, confirmation of bookings and special requests.
·To be responsible for cash handling within the department and report any discrepancies immediately.
·To inspire the team, train and lead in accordance with the 5* environment standards.
·To monitor Trip Advisor and encourage the team to work towards achieving outstanding customer reviews.
