Assistant Fund Accountant

Job DescriptionPosition: Fund AccountantLocation: LondonSalary: £40,000-£45,000 + Bonus & BenefitsI am working with a dynamic Private Equity Company seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Fund Accountant to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the financial reporting and accounting for the funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. This would suit someone working within a Fund Administrator or someone already at a similar organisation.Key Responsibilities:Bookkeeping and accounting for various fund entities Prepare reporting outputs during the year end and quarterly reporting cycles Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely completion of financial statements and tax returns Review Bank & contact changes / investor queries prepared by the Assistant Fund Accountant.Coordinate with external auditors for annual fund audits and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.Maintain accurate records of fund transactions and ensure proper documentation.Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMAProficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills..Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
