Position Overview

Due to continued business growth, we are currently recruiting a Assistant Geospatial Engineer to join our Geospatial Engineering Department on a permanent basis. This role, based in London is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your career, contributing to high-profile projects while working alongside senior geospatial engineers. You’ll apply and expand your expertise in construction and surveying, learning from industry experts and gaining valuable insights. What You Will Do

• Setting out for different trades in construction.


• Ability to understand and complete survey capture and control works.
  


• Prepare and analyse data for set-out


• Utilise modern survey methods and survey devices such as Total Stations, GNSS, UAV, HDS, imaging tools, GPS, Data Collectors.


• Record surveying information accurately and consistently on site to the agreed specification and scope


• Perform detailed field and office surveying work


• Utilisation of post processing software such as AutoCAD, StarNet and BRICSCAD.


• Any other duties as required by the business.

What You Will Bring

• Have relevant qualifications (Surveying, Geomatics or Engineering) and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.


• Fundamental knowledge of the principles and practices of surveying and geospatial engineering, especially control networks.


• Ability to communicate technical information effectively.


• Understand scopes of work and project requirements.


• Have strong knowledge of current CAD technology.


• Experience working in infrastructure and construction.


• Experience with HD Laser Scanning technology and software (desired but not essential).


• Experience with machine control (desired but not essential).


• Possess a full clean UK/ International Drivers’ licence


• Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.


• Possess a CSCS card or be prepared to start the process


• The right to work in the UK.
