Assistant Headteacher - The Role:

The successfully appointed Assistant Headteacher will be required to:

• Lead the day-to-day management of the school site in the absence of the Headteacher

• Champion mental health and wellbeing across the school for staff and pupils

• Support the Headteacher in driving the school’s vision, strategic goals, and high standards of education

• Formulate, implement, and review school aims, policies, and procedures

• Lead on ABA/VB (Applied Behaviour Analysis/Verbal Behaviour) practices and embed them across teaching

• Monitor progress and manage staff and resources to achieve school objectives

Additional Responsibilities:

• Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL)

• Lead a team of Mental Health and Wellbeing Champions

• Oversee the Community & Life Skills Curriculum

• Manage work-related learning and transition to post-16 opportunities

The school are looking for:
