In this role, you will work closely with the Headteacher and the rest of the senior leadership team to provide strategic leadership and contribute to the continued development of the school.

Assistant Head Responsibilities

• Support the Headteacher in leading the school’s strategic direction.


• Oversee curriculum development and ensure it meets the needs of all learners.


• Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support.


• Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning to ensure high standards.


• Engage with parents and the wider community to build strong relationships and support student progress.

Assistant Head Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status


• Relevant leadership experience highly desirable.


• Strong track record of teaching and leadership in a primary school setting.


• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.


• Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for students and staff.
