A global business is seeking an Assistant HR Business Partner operating across the North of England, supporting multiple office sites. Your Role While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers, providing expert HR guidance across the full spectrum of people topics, including performance, development, reward, and employee relations
Partnering with business leaders to align people strategy with organisational goals, using data and insight to inform decision-making and workforce planning
Providing coaching and support to line managers on complex employee relations matters, ensuring consistent application of policies, procedures, and employment law
Advising on performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning, to drive a high-performance culture
Supporting the development and implementation of learning and development initiatives by advising on skill needs, recommending suitable interventions, and evaluating impact
Offering subject matter expertise on compensation and reward, advising on pay frameworks, benchmarking, and recognition practices to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness
Guiding organisational change activities such as restructures, TUPE, and culture change, ensuring people impacts are well-managed and compliant
Collaborating cross-functionally including Talent Acquisition, L&D, & Reward to ensure seamless delivery of HR initiatives that meet the needs of the business
Championing inclusion, wellbeing, and employee engagement by advising on effective practices and influencing a positive workplace culture
Using HR metrics and insights to spot trends, identify risks, and support evidence-based decisions at a strategic and operational level
You MUST Have Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
Extensive experience within a HR advisory remit, providing support to leadership and various stakeholders
Exposure that covers many core facets of the HR function, including performance management, L&D, reward and compensation, employee engagement and policies and procedures
It would be advantageous to possess a HR qualification (CIPD Level 5 & 7) however this isn't crucial
Phenomenal communication skills and confidence, particularly in collaborating, supporting and advising a range of stakeholders and managers of all levels and seniority
IT & HR systems exposure, including Microsoft Office and HRISs
Ability to travel to meet expectations (see below)
PLEASE NOTE: This role will enable the position holder to work 1 day from home a week, with the rest of the time being 'field based' travelling to 4 offices within the North of England (from Liverpool to Sheffield). Alongside this, there will be the expectation to travel down South to the southern offices in Dorset, once a month.

This role will prove to be a dynamic position, with exposure to a wide breadth of facets across the HR function. The opportunity will be ideal for a charismatic and exuberant HR Advisor, eager to find their next progressive opportunity and support senior managers and stakeholders and effect real change across multiple business sites.
This role could yield a starting salary in the region of £40,000, dependent on the level of previous experience and knowledge.
