Assistant Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a reputable not-for-profit organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management of company finances and contribute to the achievement of the organisation's mission and strategy.

Description

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Monitor and report on budget variances.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.
• Support in the production of forecasts and budgets.
• Assist in the year-end audit process.
• Liaise with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting practices and legislation.
• Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field.
• AAT / CIMA / ACCA Studier
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
