Job Description - Assistant Management Accountant

The business
We are delighted to be partnering with this high growth business located in Manchester city centre in the recruitment of an Assistant Management Accountant.

Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join of the UK’s most dynamic fast-growing companies. The role is ideal for a part qualified assistant accountant who thrives in a fast pace, detailed oriented environment and keen to broaden their experience across core finance operations and management accounting.
You will be part of a small collaborative finance team.
Duties include:
  • Assist with monthly management accounts: P&L reviews, journal postings (accruals, prepayments), and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Payment runs and employee expenses
  • Bank reconciliations and supplier invoices
  • Payroll & VAT

Person
  • Studying towards an accounting qualification – ACCA/ACA/CIMA/AAT
  • Previous experience gained within finance
  • Good understanding of reconciliation processes and financial controls
  • Strong excel skills
  • Experience using Xero or similar software
