Description

• Assist with the production of monthly management accounts.
• Provide financial support and insight to the wider business.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Conduct variance analysis and explain key movements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• Support in the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
• Handle ad-hoc financial queries and projects.
• Maintain a strong relationship with other departments to ensure finances are accurately reported.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• A strong academic record, including a degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Relevant qualifications, such as ACCA or CIMA (part-qualified or fully qualified).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
