Description

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Obtain and analyse data on stock and work in progress, and present findings clearly.
• Provide cover for Purchase and Sales Ledger processing when required.
• Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyse financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Post weekly payroll journals and assist with payroll reconciliations.
• Support the finance team in day-to-day operations.
• Review and implement financial policies.
• Assist with the year-end audit process.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• An academic background in finance or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with financial software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail oriented with strong organisational skills.
