Assistant Management Accountant

Search Consultancy are delighted to be supporting a global business based in in East Leeds in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly management accounts and assist in ensuring adherence to financial controls.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for the production of management information, including employee costings and cost of sales analysis, as well as assisting with the monthly management accounts preparation. You will develop accounting to assess profitability and take full responsibility for the weekly forecast reporting and flash reports. You will also assist in budget and forecast preparation and complete monthly commission statements. You will support the year-end audit and review the cost analysis.

To be considered for this role you will:

• Be AAT Qualified or working towards ACCA/CIMA
• Have high levels of accuracy and strong problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to work proactively and reactively while managing own workload.
• Have advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of other IT systems.
