Assistant Management Accountant

A successful company that operates on a UK-wide basis is expanding and looking for someone to join their close-knit team.

Your new role
Working within finance and reporting to the FD, you will assist in the month-end processing; accruals/prepayments, journals, reconciliations etc. You will also liaise with colleagues on daily invoice transactions to resolve any discrepancies and resolve any problems with suppliers or customers.

What you'll need to succeed
Being part-qualified, you will already have gained a strong accounting background in transactional processing and have recent proven experience in assisting with the month-end closure. Strong Excel and accounting IT experience is required along with a clear understanding of debits and credits along with financial statements. You will also demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and collaboratively with the wider business.
