Assistant Management Accountant

A leading entertainment company based in Central London is seeking to hire an AAT-qualified or CIMA/ACCA part-qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with one day per week working from home. Reporting to the Management Accountant and working in a dynamic finance team, the Assistant Management Accountant will:

Duties for the Assistant Management Accountant:

• Play a vital role in preparing monthly management accounts
• Supporting external reporting
• Reconcile the employee expenses ledger
• Prepare month-end journals, including prepayments, accruals, stock, cost, and revenue uploads
• Assist with Accounts Receivable and billings queries

Requirements of the Assistant Management Accountant role:

• Experience as a Bookkeeper or Assistant Accountant, preferably in the creative/media sectors.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP
• Proficient in Excel (VLookups, Pivot Tables, Sumifs)
• Strong knowledge of trial balances, bookkeeping, and profit & loss accounts
• Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills
• Motivated team player with the ability to work independently
• AAT qualification or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
