Assistant Management Accountant

We are working with a leading Manufacturing business, based in Wakefield, on a newly created Assistant Management Accountant opportunity. This is a varied role reporting into the Financial Controller, offering ACCA/CIMA study support.

Offering bespoke and tailored products to multiple different industries across the UK, they have experienced impressive growth in recent years and continue to expand. Due to this, a newly created Assistant Management Accountant opportunity has become available at their Wakefield office.

Description

As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the Financial Controller and wider finance team
• Support with the month-end preparation
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and different analysis i.e. variance, cost, financial
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Prepare monthly and quarterly VAT returns
• Process employee expense claims
• Support the wider finance team with accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processing when required

Profile

The successful Assistant Management Accountant will:

• Have the relevant month end prep experience
• Great organisational skills and attention to detail

Job Offer

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum + ACCA/CIMA study support + on site parking + office-based role + 25 days annual leave plus banks + fantastic company/team culture
