Assistant Management Accountant - Harrogate - £25,000 to £27,000 - Hybrid 3 days WFH - plus full study support and a development plan

Axon Moore are delighted to be working in collaboration with a high growth Tech company based in Harrogate to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team.

The role is an outstanding opportunity for a career driven finance assistant of graduate as it offers full study support and a development plan to move into a commercially focused Assistant Management Accounts role within the finance team.

The Job

• Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Journals, accruals and prepayments
• Working with commercial and operational teams to understand financial activity
• Ensuring supplier invoices are correctly coded
• Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting of key variances to management, working closely with commercial and operational teams.
• Other ad-hoc duties and cover for team members as required

The successful candidate will:

• Looking to start studying towards CIMA or ACCA
• Finance experience
• Commercially astute

• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communication skills - able to build relationships and work collaboratively
