We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team in Shoreham. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is eager to assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Support the senior management accountant with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Help in maintaining and updating financial records.
• Participate in the reconciliation of bank statements and accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with the preparation of year-end audit files and liaise with auditors.
• Analyse financial data and create reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
• Work closely with other teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Proven experience in an accounting role, preferably as an Assistant Management Accountant.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing financial information.
• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; part-qualified ACCA/CIMA is highly desirable.
